Bioroof's Bio-Superlite system is our lightest pre-vegetated sedum roof system available. Bio-Superlite presents a solution for designers when faced with challenges such as structural limitations, cost restrictions and maintenance issues by providing them with the lightest, easy-to-install and most cost effective green roof available on the market. In addition to the same low maintenance requirements as our Bio-System, Bio-Superlite contains no 'loose' growing media so installation is an easy, clean and quick process.
Two layers of retention fleece ensure that even though this is a minimal, low-cost system it still has the superior water retention and stormwater management capabilities expected from Bioroof green roof systems. Bio-Superlite is a strong contender for retrofit projects with weight and cost limitations where designers still want to incorporate performance into their green roof system. Bioroof’s Bio-Superlite systems follow the German FLL guidelines for green roof construction.
